Our Studio: Construction

HAY DESIGN STUDIO 

We've made some good progress at the new Studio this past week. The walls are framed and the electrical has been run. We made a decision not to frame all the office walls to the ceiling as that would mean extra electrical and HVAC costs, not to mention sprinklers! So we opted to simply frame the boardroom walls up to the ceiling so that it has total privacy and sound protection. So now we will need to find some creative alternatives for sound in the offices.

My most Junior Design associate, Joseph, came to inspect the space on Sunday and he appears to approve and even had some new ideas of his own. Turns out a toddler can be quite creative. Watch our You Tube video to see how he enjoyed the space and where we are at.
